It also comes with 11 height adjustments that let it accommodate the mattress of nearly any size bed. It also has adjustable folding feet to make sure that it's placed at just the right height.
In terms of safety the cot is padded and has mesh sides for increased ventilation, while its mattress is made of high-density foam to provide extra protection. It can also be cleaned and you can keep the cot clean. It includes a fitted mattress sheet that can be used for the crib.
Contrary to other cribs that are bedside like the Roomie Glide is suitable for the majority of beds, including divans due to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a standalone crib if it is not attached to your bed, and it's packed with features designed with parent-baby bonding in mind.
One thing to bear in mind is that even though this crib is great for newborns, it won't last long after your child is six months old, and you'll require an additional cot. Overall, Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide was a really good buy and she particularly liked its sleek design.
Cots For Tots is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna thought was a reasonable cost for a cot that has these advanced features. She also liked how it looked in the bedroom, and believed that its grey colour is a good fit for modern homes. However, she pointed that it's not an ideal idea to rock a smaller baby, as it can create a bad habit for later sleep patterns.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to give you the best sleep possible. It has an adjustable side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your child during the night without disturbing them or causing them to get out of the bed. This is ideal for breastfeeding mothers! We love that it's constructed of soft fabrics with mesh sides that breathe, which aids in airflow and ease of use. It's available in oak and charcoal, with a range of melange fabrics that are compatible with all decor styles. Anna found it solid and secure when it was attached to her bed, with the legs securely clicking into place and the zips secure to ensure safety for babies. It took Anna around 10 minutes to put it together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer service number should you experience any issues.
Alongside the usual features you'd expect from a crib that is bedside that include the ability to connect to your existing bed using a stay-in-place connector system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to help alleviate reflux or congestion in babies. It's also machine-washable, which is a essential feature for all the dribbles, vomit and snot that come with having a new baby!

The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco’s more expensive options. However, it has a lot of amazing features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib that is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It comes with a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel. It's simple to use even with one hand. It's also more adjustable than the previous model, with 11 different height settings and legs that retract to fit underneath any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access to the side panel, which can be lowered and raised by pressing one button. This was particularly helpful at night, as they could reach in and pick up their baby without waking them up.
It is possible to lower the side panel it's own, however this is not recommended, as it increases the risk that your baby will be thrown out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will only remain in place if it's properly attached to the mattress of the parent. This is a great feature to have for peace of mind, particularly when you're breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.
Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases as well as beds with drawers. It features a tilting feature for babies with reflux, as well as an option to rock to calm them after a meal. It's also extremely spacious and has excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, despite the lengthy instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's easily moved from one area to another. It can also be folded into a bag for travel, which is a great option when you need to transport it. The only issue our test subjects found was that the side panel didn't flex as much compared to other models. This made it a little harder to see your baby from your bed.
The Shnuggle Air
If you're in search of a crib for your bed that will develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth a look. It's a co-sleeping crib that can be attached securely to your bed and can be converted into a stylish cot once your baby is old enough. Perfect for nighttime feedings and strengthening your bond with your new born.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, not like other models. Its dual-view mesh sides as well as breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximise airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope helps alleviate colic and reflux. The zip-down side lets you to feed your baby or comfort them during the night.
The cot conversion kit is also well-designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you require. It took us around an hour to assemble and was reasonably straightforward. The only drawback to the instructions was that some images did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. Overall, the process was easy and the materials used were of top quality.
In co-sleeping mode we found the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent option for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a c-section because it lets them easily reach out to their infant for feeding and comfort without having to get up from their own bed. It's ideal for parents who don't want the hassle of putting their baby in a traditional cot or getting out of it.
In our tests we noticed the smooth motion of this next to me crib to be especially helpful when it comes to lulling babies back to sleep after feedings at midday and in the evening. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies throughout the night. This was a big selling point for our tired moms who took part in our tests. While it doesn't rock or come with extra features, like a sound machine, the Joie Roomie Slide's elegant design and practicality make it a great addition to our top crib reviews for bed.
